Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and requisite hours to sit for the CPA exam.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Desire to work in public accounting.
• A strong track record of leadership and related extracurricular activities.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in client engagements from start to finish, including planning, completing tax projects, and working within a budget.
• Research tax issues and communicate with clients on resolutions.
• Work with team to develop new ways to solve client business problems.
• Supervise, train, and mentor new associates and interns on tax processes.
• Proactively communicate with management regarding work status and time/budget variances.
• Develop professional relationships with clients and maintain client confidentiality.
