Qualifications

• Approximately 1–4 years of federal tax experience.
• Experience with transactional tax matters, preferably gained at a law firm or accounting firm.
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions, tax structuring, and tax credit financing is preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school or tax LL.M. program.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax considerations related to business transactions and financing arrangements.
• Assist with transactions involving tax credit programs, including clean energy and historic rehabilitation projects.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, including tax analysis and structuring.
• Research and analyze federal tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to develop tax-efficient strategies for clients.
• Assist with drafting and reviewing transaction documents and related tax materials.
