Job summary

CBIZ, Inc., based in New Jersey, seeks a qualified accounting professional to complete accounting, tax and audit engagements for clients. You will apply GAAP, tax regulations, and quality controls to individual client assignments.

Responsibilities include adhering to engagement budgets, meeting deadlines, and contributing to practice development through professional organizations. Travel to client sites will be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Internship experience in accounting or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred.
• CPA eligible; desire to obtain certification is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including basic knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations.
• Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

• Execute administrative duties as assigned.
