Job summary

The Washington, DC office of Paul Hastings seeks an associate with 2–5 years of transactional tax experience in mergers & acquisitions, private investment funds, structured credit, real estate transactions and REITs, capital markets, financing and loan agreements, private equity backed transactions and international taxation. Securitization and ABS experience is preferred.

The salary range for this position is a minimum of $235,000 and a maximum of $365,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of transactional tax experience across multiple practice areas.
• Securitization and/or ABS experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support transactional tax matters across mergers & acquisitions, private funds, real estate and capital markets.
• Assist with structuring, financing and international tax planning.
