Hantz Group, a Michigan-based financial company, is seeking a Tax Associate to join the Family Office. You will work with CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to broaden knowledge of tax accounting and its relationship with financial services.

Responsibilities include tax analysis, projections and returns; you’ll collaborate with other specialists to find opportunities for clients and to provide proactive tax planning throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent designation.
• Ability to obtain PTIN.

Tax Associate

Our Tax Specialists provide strategies to minimize client taxes. We believe tax planning is a proactive process that requires monitoring each client’s tax situation throughout the year to deliver tax projections before preparing the final tax return.

The Tax Associate is a great entry‑level position to start your career in tax. You will be integrated into the Family Office and work closely with CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to broaden your knowledge about tax accounting and its relationship with financial services. In addition to completing tax analysis and preparing tax projections and returns, you’ll collaborate with other specialists to find opportunities for clients.
