Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Experience in client-facing or consultative roles
• Availability to work 15-35 hours per week, up to 40 hours during peak periods
• Evenings and weekends during tax season

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities to increase your earnings as you build tax knowledge and grow in the role. This role is in‑person at a local H&R Block tax office.

• Experience asking questions and recommending solutions based on customer needs
• Ability to work 15-35 hours per week, with availability up to 40 hours during peak periods
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season
