The Tax Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the Central New Jersey and Northern New Jersey Areas. This role is responsible for assisting clients with individual and small business tax preparation, ensuring accurate and compliant returns in accordance with current tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include interviewing clients to gather financial information, analyzing tax documents, identifying potential deductions and credits, and completing federal, state, and local tax returns. The Tax Associate will explain tax outcomes clearly, answer client questions, and provide guidance on future tax planning opportunities. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes, using tax preparation software, collaborating with team members, and supporting client service initiatives during peak tax season and throughout the year.
