CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for its Andover, MA, Boston, MA, Providence, RI, Quincy, MA and Worcester, MA offices. The anticipated start date is January 2028 and the program will run through April 2028.

The role provides exposure to tax returns, audit and assurance services, with opportunities to learn procedures and systems. Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance should be on track for CPA eligibility and possess strong MS Office skills.

• Completes research and special projects as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge, through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $32 - $34 an hour.
