Job summary

CB Partners, LLC is seeking a Tax Analyst to join our corporate tax team. This role focuses on multi-state sales and use tax compliance, tax accruals, and collaboration with finance to ensure accurate reporting.

The position offers a flexible work environment and exposure to tax and process improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of indirect tax experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales and use tax, transactional tax, or indirect tax experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and use tax filings and related compliance activities.
• Prepare tax accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Review purchases and transactions to ensure proper tax treatment.
• Research indirect tax regulations and stay current on tax law changes.
• Support audits, tax notice resolution, and compliance inquiries.
• Prepare various non-income tax filings, licenses, and reporting requirements.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and special projects.
