Job summary

DMA in Indianapolis seeks a Tax Analyst to support assessment reviews and maximize tax savings for clients. The role involves data collection, Excel/database entry, and coordination with tax authorities.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to maintain client files and generate reports. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in accounting/finance and 2–5 years of administrative experience; Bachelor's is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics is required.
• 2–5 years of professional experience, preferably in an administrative support role.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collects and organizes client data for assessment reviews.
• Researches and enters data into Property Tax database and Excel spreadsheets.
• Communicates with assessors and tax collectors regarding notices and deadlines.
• Calculates and processes reductions, and handles follow-up billing.
• Prepares client reports and maintains organized files.
• Performs other administrative duties as needed.
