Job Title: Tax Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Rate: $30-33/hr on W2

Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our team for a backup withholding remediation project. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing data, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze large data sets
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and reporting to support project deliverables
• Track multiple deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of project milestones
• Maintain accurate records of remediation activities and status updates

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and managing data
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience with US tax withholding regulations is helpful but not required
