Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on tax preparation and review experience.
• Proficiency in tax software and QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Technical Review (Tax): Review complex tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify missing sections, credits, or potential risks.
• Provide clear written feedback to the preparation team for corrections.
• Sign off on returns as the final quality control checkpoint.
• Technical Review (contingent): Review monthly and quarterly financial statements (QuickBooks Online) for clients.
• Verify that the Balance Sheet and P&L reflect business activity.
• Year-end compliance: Review quarterly tax projections and estimate payments.
• Assist with notices, amendments, or year-end tax planning calculations as needed.
