Job summary

RWM & Company is seeking a Tax & Accounting Advisory Manager to lead a portfolio of business owners and high-net-worth individuals, blending Tax Advisory Services with Client Accounting Advisory Services. The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, leadership, and strategic client service.

You will work in a hybrid setting with two days per week in our New Bloomfield and Wormleysburg offices, advancing AI-enabled workflows while maintaining rigorous professional judgment.

Qualifications

• At least five years of public accounting experience across tax and accounting advisory and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred; EA or advanced tax credential (JD or LLM) considered for the right candidate.
• Strong command of complex individual and pass-through returns (1040, 1120-S, and 1065) with experience advising closely held businesses and high-income owners.
• Experience in client accounting advisory or controller-level work is a plus.
• Leadership and ability to coach preparers and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of tax and advisory clients and build year-round relationships with business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead conversations on tax planning, accounting strategy, and implementation with clear recommendations on entity structure and timing.
• Deliver senior-level production and review of complex work, including returns and financial statements.
• Help build an AI-enabled firm by using tools like QuickBooks Online, UltraTax, and AI workflows while maintaining professional judgment.
• Coach and develop the team, making reviews a learning process and upholding company values.
