Affinity is partnering w/ a local CPA firm looking to bring on an experienced Tax Accountant. This role will work directly with businesses and individuals to prepare tax returns, provide tax planning support, and help deliver exceptional client service.

This laid back team offers a great landing spot for someone with previous tax prep and versatile accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Assist with small financial statement preparation/bookkeeping
• Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies
• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and information requests
• Assist with year-end tax projections and compliance requirements
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting and tax preparation experience preferred
• Experience preparing a variety of business and individual tax returns
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season
• CPA designation preferred but not required
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Excel
