Tax Accountant - Our client seeks a highly organized Tax Accountant in their Des Moines, IA office.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity where you will earn up to $130,000 based on your experience. You will work Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 100% in office.

Some of your responsibilities as a Tax Accountant will include:

• Communicating with clients to ensure timely collection of information
• Preparing tax estimates and returns
• Serving as the tax subject matter expert
• Assisting with ongoing accounting services
• Scheduling review cycle of tax preparation and estimates
• Coordinating with IT resources to maintain and improve tax software
• Other duties as assigned

To qualify for the Tax Accountant, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. As well as:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or related field
• 5+ years of tax and accounting experience
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• CPA Preferred
• Understanding of financial planning strategies
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Relationship building skills
