Job summary

Station Casinos is accepting applications for Tavern Line Cooks to support Seventy Six Taverns in our Las Vegas venues. The role assists the Executive Chef in a busy kitchen, handling cooking, frying, sautéing, broiling, grilling, and steaming a variety of foods with attention to cleanliness and safety.

Two years of cook experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred; candidates must be able to obtain work cards and show strong judgment and detail orientation to maintain excellent kitchen

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years Cook experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cook under the direction of the Executive Chef and culinary leadership, performing tasks including cooking, frying, sautéing, broiling, grilling, and steaming all meats, fish, eggs, and vegetables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and equipment, ensure proper stocking of cold items, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Cook (Cocinero)

Description:

Directly supports the Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef, Room Chef and Asst. Room Chef. The cook ensures that the kitchen and equipment are in good working order, maintains cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards. Supports Chef's in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, steaming all meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc. Maintain cleanliness of area as well as keeping cold items stocked. Ensure kitchen area and equipment are in good working order.
