Job summary

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Tavern Bar Manager to direct daily Tavern operations and support other beverage outlets, events, and functions. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maximize beverage sales and efficiency.

Responsibilities include staff recruitment and training, lineups, inventory management, cost controls, and ensuring safety and compliance across beverage operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years as a Head Bartender, Bar Manager, or Beverage Supervisor in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Experience with beverage inventory management, purchasing, cost controls, and labor reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Tavern operations and support other beverage outlets.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop bartenders and staff.
• Conduct trainings focused on service excellence and product knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost controls.
• Monitor labor and staffing to meet budget and service standards.
• Foster relationships with members, guests, vendors, and team.
• Support beverage programming, promotions, and events.
