Job summary

ISD 622 invites applications for an Assistant Girls' Dance Coach at Tartan High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role requires working with high school performers, coaching team routines, and upholding district and MSHSL standards.

Candidates must be available for weekend games and weekday practices from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the season, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach the Tartan High School Girls' Dance team.
• Be available for weekend games and for practice sessions as scheduled.
• Coordinate with school activities and adhere to MSHSL guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Girls' Dance, either coaching or playing competitively
• Experience working with high school aged students
• Be available for some weekend games
• Be available for practices and games 2:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. during the season
• Knowledge of MSHSL rules & regulations
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong human relation & communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• Previous High School Coaching Experience
• High School and College Playing Experience
• Ability to develop strong community relations
• Knowledge in developing and/or social media
