Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in Milan, OH is seeking a Tarper to tarp and secure product on flatbed trailers for shipment and to untarp for unloading. The role requires following procedures, using tarping equipment, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Employees work inside and outside with shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with weekend work and overtime as needed. Background check and drug screen required; age 18+; EOE.

Qualifications

• 1- Follows oral and written duties and procedures for each.
• 2- Place and secure poly and tarps on flatbed trailers as required on top of the loads with the assistance of a tarping machine.
• 3- Observes all safety policies and wears the required Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• 4- Keeps work areas and truck lots clean and orderly.
• 5- Employees work inside and outside. In case of snow employees remove the snow by shoveling the trailers.
• 6- Works well with others.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES : Tarps and secures product loaded on flatbed trailers for shipment and unsecures and untarps product on flatbed trailers for unloading.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1- Follows oral and written duties and procedures for each.

SCHEDULE: Current normal work schedule is Monday through Friday--1st shift starts at 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 2nd shift is 3 p.m.to 11 p.m.; 3rd shift is 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Weekend work and overtime required, if needed.
