Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A truck driver for a dedicated Target account based in West Jefferson, Ohio. Expect regular weekly home time, a mix of shuttles, full loads, and store deliveries to Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Overnight operations with shifts around 9 PM to noon, and 34-hour resets.

Equipment includes modern automatics and 28‑ft/53‑ft trailers. Required: valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months of verifiable CDL experience, clean driving record, DOT medical card, and weekend

Take the wheel on a dedicated Target account based in West Jefferson, Ohio, with strong earning potential and regular weekly home time. Run a mix of shuttles, full loads, and store deliveries serving the Chicago area.

Pay & Earning Potential

• Average: $1,860 per week ($96,758 annualized)
• Top drivers: Up to $2,539 per week ($132,036 annualized)
• Mileage pay, stop pay, and detention pay

Schedule & Home Time

• Home 2–3 days per week, including a 34-hour reset
• Overnight operations, currently running approximately 9 PM to noon
• Seven-day operation with no set days off
• Shift times may vary

Routes & Freight

• Dedicated Target account departing from and returning to West Jefferson, Ohio
• Deliveries to downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs
• Shuttle points in Whitestown and Demotte, Indiana
• Preloaded dual-temperature and tri-temperature refrigerated trailers
• Most stores unload the freight; drivers observe the unloading
• Some inner-city deliveries require a liftgate and pallet jack
