Job summary

Prairie Field Services is seeking an experienced Crude Oil Hauler / Tanker Driver to safely transport crude oil from production locations to designated facilities while complying with DOT regulations and company policies.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, gauge tanks, and complete required tickets, while maintaining logs and adhering to safety requirements in oilfield environments.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Experience in crude oil, tanker, or oilfield hauling.
• Knowledge of loading, gauging, and crude oil transport procedures.
• Ability to work independently and safely in oilfield environments.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work the assigned schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload crude oil using tanker equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify equipment or safety concerns.
• Gauge tanks and complete required load tickets and paperwork.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, HOS, and company safety requirements.
• Operate on lease roads, well sites, highways, and in varied weather and road conditions.
• Inspect hoses, valves, pumps, fittings, and tanker equipment before and during operations.
• Maintain accurate logs (electronic or paper) as required.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, field personnel, and facility operators.
• Report spills, leaks, equipment issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and in safe condition.

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Crude Oil Hauler / Tanker Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting crude oil from production locations to designated facilities while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload crude oil using tanker equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify equipment or safety concerns.
• Gauge tanks and accurately complete required load tickets and transportation paperwork.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, HOS, and company safety requirements.
• Safely operate on lease roads, well sites, highways, and in changing weather and road conditions.
• Inspect hoses, valves, pumps, fittings, and tanker equipment before and during operations.
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs as required.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, field personnel, and facility operators.
• Immediately report spills, leaks, equipment issues, accidents, or other safety concerns.
• Keep assigned truck and equipment clean and in safe operating condition.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement required.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet company and insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing.
• Crude oil, tanker, oilfield, or related hauling experience
• Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, gauging, and crude oil transportation procedures
• Ability to work independently and safely in oilfield environments.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work the assigned schedule.
