Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a CDL Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role involves operating tanker/tack trucks, performing pre/post trip inspections, and maintaining logs in compliance with DOT and company policies.

You will coordinate with paving crews and ensure safe, timely delivery of fuel and materials to job sites. Required are a valid Class B CDL, 1–2 years of CDL experience with GVW 33,000+ lbs, and tanker endorsement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience
• 1–2 yrs CDL driving experience with GVW 33,000 lbs or greater
• TankER endorsement
• DOT physical compliance
• Valid Class B CDL required
• Hazmat experience preferred but not required
• Skilled in loading/unloading of fuel and oil at terminals
• Valid Driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain safety and report problems
• Drives tanker/tack truck to predetermined destinations applying knowledge of regulations and local roads
• Work with paving crews
• Maintains a truck log per state/federal regulations and company policy
• Communicates traffic or site condition problems promptly and reports location details
• Complies with truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair guidelines
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
