Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Wash Technician to clean, dry, and deodorize tank trailers using high pressure steam, water, chemicals and detergents on site in Owensboro, KY. You will handle trailers preparation for deliveries and ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

The role requires lifting capabilities up to 50 lbs, ability to work in confined spaces, and adherence to company policies while maintaining quality and efficiency in washing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to clear and enter confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform wash water segregation duties
• Comply with company safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Manage chemical usage and waste
• Open and close valves
• Couple tanks and drive tractors
• Lift, pull, push and carry hoses
• Conduct measurements and complete paperwork
• Prepare trailers for deliveries
