Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a QA/QC Superintendent for Counce Mill to manage all quality assurance and control aspects of mechanical repairs and tank integrity projects. You will lead inspections, supervise contract personnel, and coordinate with Operations to meet PCA standards and API 653 requirements.

The role emphasizes corrosion/welding knowledge, NDT oversight, regulatory compliance, and budgeting for sustaining capital and major maintenance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• ASME/API inspection standards knowledge required.
• NDT and corrosion knowledge essential for tank integrity work.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC for mechanical repairs and tank integrity projects.
• Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with API/ASME standards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Scheduling, Environmental for tank work schedules.
• Prepare budgets, estimates, and procurement plans for projects.
• Ensure documentation and regulatory compliance for tank inspections.
