Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc is seeking a Warehouse/Tank Farm Operator in Bunola, PA to provide efficient operation of tank farm facilities. You will handle shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals, ensure compliance with labeling laws, and maintain equipment and stock in a safe environment.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to work outdoors in all weather, emergency response readiness, and operation of warehouse equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals in the tank farm; provide services for prompt and accurate filling, packing, and shipping of tank farm customer orders.
• Ensures compliance with all State and Federal labeling and shipping laws and regulations on merchandise shipped from warehouse.
• Inspects and checks tank farm equipment and facilities to ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
• Maintains and protects warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
• Handles, blends, and pumps hazardous chemicals outdoors.
• Transfers hazardous chemicals from railcar to tank and tank to trailer.
• Packages totes and drums with product.
• Drives hostler in the yard to move bulk trailers.
• Escalates problems with regard to tank farm operation to Warehouse or Operations Manager

• Any problems with regard to tank farm operation should be brought to the attention of Warehouse or Operation's Manager

What you'll need:

• High School Diploma, or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience

• Office and plant environment
• Ability to respond to emergency response situations
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to respond to emergencies and direct Emergency Response Teams
• Ability to operate all warehouse equipment
• Ability to work varying and extended hours
