Job summary

BHI is seeking a dedicated Welder to join the Fab Shop in Pleasant View, Utah. You will weld coils and spoil kits for tanks, using pipe and flanges from 2" to 12", under supervision and with a focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years welding/fitting experience, can pass bend tests, lift 70 pounds, and read blueprints and WPSs. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of welding/fitting experience with blueprint knowledge.
• Pass a 2g 3/8" bend test and 6g 3" SCH 80.
• Lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience welding with GMAW using spray, Pulse, and RMD.
• Read blueprints and WPSs.
• Skilled in fitting and welding for tank fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Fab Shop to build and weld coils and spoil kits for tanks using pipe and flanges from 2" to 12".
• Provide welding leadership with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with a dedicated helper for pipe prep while focusing on welding quality and safety.
• Contribute to tank fabrication processes and ensure adherence to specs.
