Palmdale Oil is seeking a Tank Delivery Driver, Class B with X Endorsement, to operate a flatbed truck delivering tanks to multiple destinations across Florida. The role requires excellent customer service, strict safety practices, and the ability to handle documentation, pre/post trip inspections, and timely deliveries.

The position is full-time at the Fort Pierce location with overtime and weekend availability. A clean driving record and DOT compliance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• CDL B with Haz-Mat & Tanker Endorsements (X).
• Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle.
• Able to lift 85 pounds.
• Overtime and weekend availability as required.
• Travel in the Tampa area and surrounding regions.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Outstanding safety record.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Must meet all DOT/Federal and State requirements for the operation of CMVs.
• Maintain a clean presentation of driver and vehicle.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operates a flatbed truck as directed that delivers between the facility and multiple destinations.
• Responsible for tank building.
• Prepares, receives, and provides documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of tanks to ensure timely service.
• Makes deliveries of tanks in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
• Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle (pre-post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times, including refueling as needed.
• Composing loaner tanks to go out based on the equipment checklist.

Palmdale Oil has an immediate opening at our Fort Pierce location for a Tank Delivery Driver, Class B with X Endorsement. The driver must be dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.

Job Description

Class B CDL Tank Delivery Driver position include:

• Operates a flatbed truck as directed that delivers between the facility and multiple destinations.

Job Requirements

The required skills for the CDL B Route Driver are:

• CDL with Haz-Mat & Tanker Endorsements (X)
