Transco Rail Services in Seadrift, TX is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to perform all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars, emphasizing safety and teamwork. You will ensure inspections and repairs meet current standards while supporting customers and colleagues.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, hand-tool proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Starting pay is $24.18/hour with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to problem-solve.
• Must complete basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must work safely and follow procedures.
• Must work in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Railcar Repair – follows current repair procedures and inspects railcars.
• Customer Support – meet customer expectations to ensure satisfaction of work.
• Clerical – invoicing, inspection, and work order information.
• Maintains all certifications and familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
• Other work-related tasks as assigned.
