Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is a nationwide tank construction company headquartered near Pittsburgh, PA. We seek a full-time Tank Builder/Welder to join our crew and perform welding, tank fabrication, and related duties across project sites.

The role emphasizes strong communication, safety, and reliability, with opportunities for growth within our expanding team serving the petroleum, power, chemical, and renewable fuels sectors.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Punctuality and reliability are required; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a safety-conscious environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States and pass background checks.
• Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate power tools and lifting equipment.
• Weld tanks using SMAW and FCAW processes.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan work sequence.
• Complete job safety analyses and site training as required.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on time.
