Job summary

Associates Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to reinforce our security infrastructure, focusing on deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Tanium platform for enterprise-wide visibility and endpoint security compliance.

Candidates should have deep experience with vulnerability management, automated patching, and adherence to federal standards such as STIGs and CMMC. A Security+ CE and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of cybersecurity experience, including patching and configuration of Windows and Linux OS and third-party apps.
• Experience operating Tanium in an enterprise environment (virtual appliance).
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., CMMC, C2C).
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and PowerShell for remediation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Management & ACAS Operations: remediation efforts across endpoints and third-party apps.
• Tanium Platform Operations: maintain Tanium virtual appliance and manage license files and exports.
• Compliance & Automated Patching: patching Windows/Linux and third-party apps; implement STIGs and generate leadership reports.
