Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the TAMS Crew
Creates safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setup and removal of traffic control devices including cones, message/arrow boards, temporary signage, etc.
Transports crew and equipment to work sites operating large trucks, specialized motor vehicles and trailers
Carry out all duties in line with CCI policies and procedures
Concrete work (i.e. barrier walls, sound walls, concrete ditch)
Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces including potholes, working with concrete and asphalt
Drainage repair (i.e. manholes and inlets) repair washouts, pipe installations
Required to be available and accessible for emergency call outs
Execute all work requirements using a range of small, medium and large tools and equipment
All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Must have 5 years experience in a construction supervisory role
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free
Ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident
Ability to cooperate and communicate written or verbally with co-workers and supervisor
Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, divide, calculate proportions, percentages and measurements
Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to read, write and interpret documents such safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals to comply with contractual requirements
Ability to work flexibly and willingness to work extensively to meet business needs
Must have knowledge of operating equipment (excavator, loader etc.)
Must have knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete, asphalt repair, pipe installation, construction and maintenance
High level of attention to detail
