Job summary

Vettedlance is seeking skilled Tamil transcriptionists to transform spoken Tamil into clean, AI-friendly text for model training. You will follow the project style guide to capture every word, speaker, and pause.

This remote, part-time role is paid hourly and ranges from $10 to $25 per hour. Workload varies; typical hours are 10–40 per week, with weekly USD payments after a short paid assessment.

Qualifications

• Native or professional-level Tamil with strong written English for instructions.
• Excellent listening across Tamil dialects and accents.
• High accuracy on repetitive, detail-heavy transcription.
• Previous transcription or subtitling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe Tamil audio (and video where needed) word for word using the project style guide.
• Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier transcripts.
• Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips.
• Add short notes on dialect, accent or context when asked.
