Job description

Where you'll work:

Fully remote, from anywhere in the Pacific or Mountain time zone. We aren't able to consider candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones.

The Opportunity

You'll lead the strategy work that comes before and around hiring:

  • Talent Profiles and Job Ads

  • Job Opportunity Documents (JODs)

  • Strategic Sourcing Projects and Sourcing Playbooks

You'll run intake meetings with business owners, build client-ready deliverables, and coordinate our support team to get the work done. You'll also support our Managing Director behind the scenes on succession planning and exit strategy for companies of all sizes across many industries.

This is for you only if...

  • You'd rather ask the questions that challenge a hiring decision and slow down a company from making common costly mistakes.

  • You're the most organized one on every team you've been part of, and your trackers and calendar are always current.

  • You have a curious mind-set and are always asking questions to understand before giving answers.

  • You're comfortable guiding a business owner to a decision without being the expert in the room.

  • You like learning new things and asking for feedback. It comes naturally, and you don't take it personally.

  • You reply within 1 business day in all communications channels, email, phone and text, no excuses.

Your first year

  • January: You go through onboarding, shadow live projects, and learn the Talent Profile method from the people who built it.

  • February-March: You co-lead projects, then lead them with review, and you're signed off on each project type as you go.

  • By April: You're the main point of contact for your own client projects. You lead intakes, manage timelines and budgets, and direct the team’s work.

  • The Rest of Year 1: You train on new project types, and grow professionally alongside a learner-mindset team who is always pushing themselves to be better in everything they do.

What's in it for you

  • Strategy, not volume. There's no req load and no placement quota. You'll help owners define the role, the market and the hiring process, and you'll see the results.

  • Real ownership, fast. Within about four months you'll lead your own client projects, with a clear plan and sign-offs to get you there.

  • Training from leadership. You'll learn directly from our Managing Director and Leadership Team.

  • A visible growth path. After year one you'll take on new project types. You'll have quarterly reviews built around goals you help set.

  • Set hours. The job is fully remote, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 6pm.

  • An AI-forward team. We use AI tools and advise clients on using them in their people processes, so your time goes to judgment and client conversations, not reformatting documents.

  • A small team where your work is seen and your ideas change how we work, every single week.

Compensation:

Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 base

Bonus potential in a 12 month period: up to $15,000

Benefits include:

Medical, Dental, Vision

Well-Being:

Life Insurance, Vacation, Sick days and Holidays

Financial Wellness:

401K + employer match and education reimbursement

What is required that you have

  • 5+ years in HR, recruiting/talent acquisition, consulting, account management or client-facing project management

  • 3+ years managing client projects and relationships, including intake or discovery meetings and phone interviews

  • Strong business writing: you can produce client-ready job descriptions, job ads and process guides

  • 2+ years working fully remote

  • 1+ year using AI tools at work (Claude experience is a plus)

  • Experience with an applicant tracking system or CRM, and Google Workspace

  • Bonus: experience with lower middle-market and middle-market companies
