Job summary

Amazon is seeking a senior technical product manager to translate people science into production-grade tools and interfaces for HR and business leaders. You will turn validated proofs of concept into scalable, field-ready solutions across talent challenges in a fast-moving environment.

You will work with the PXT team to ship MVPs quickly, prioritize learning, and collaborate across product, engineering, and business stakeholders to influence roadmaps and release plans.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience in a highly agile environment.
  • Track record of building tools or systems that non technical users rely on for decision making.

We are looking for a technical builder who can translate people science into production grade tools and interfaces. This role bridges the gap between research insights (skills taxonomies, evaluation frameworks, talent models) and the teams who need to act on them, turning complex science into usable products for HR and business leaders.

This is not zero to one invention work or horizontal platform building. It is taking validated proofs of concept and making them real, scalable solutions for specific talent problems in our business.

About the team

Our PXT (People Experience and Technology, HR) team supports Foundational AI Models, Quantum Computing, and Custom Silicon (Annapurna). We are a team of HR leaders embedded at the frontier of Amazon's most transformative technology bets. This is an extraordinary time to be part of this team. Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience in a highly agile environment
  • Track record of building tools or systems that non technical users rely on for decision making
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes for coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
