Responsibilities

  • Sort Through Talent Pitches & Rosters: Review talent submissions and flag strong fits.
  • Keep Our Talent/Casting Database Fresh: Update internal talent grids.
  • Connect with Agencies & Managers: Outreach and collect submissions when needed.
  • Keep Tabs on Social Media Trends: Monitor platform updates and viral moments.
  • Recommend Talent for Brand & Content Collabs: Match creators to brand deals and show opportunities.
  • Work Across Teams: Collaborate with partnerships and creative teams to lock in right talent.

The company is making ordinary life relatable, humorous and entertaining through a portfolio that includes some of the most popular brands built on Instagram, including Middle Class Fancy, Shithead Steve, Overheard, Recess Therapy, Bob Does Sports and Animals Doing Things, among others. Through its IP, Doing Things fuels consumer products, branded content, video licensing, publishing and original entertainment across digital and linear TV.

Founded in 2017, Doing Things touts more than 35+ unique brands and delivers more than 100 pieces of original and curated content daily to an audience of more than 80 million followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Snap. This includes the company’s fast-growing direct-to-consumer products business, featuring comedic apparel and accessories based on what’s trending, as well as our Breezy golf apparel line.

We are seeking a Fall 2026 Intern to join our Talent Department. This internship will be based in NYC, and requires candidates to receive school credit.

Responsibilities:
  • Sort Through Talent Pitches & Rosters: Help review talent submissions and flag creators who are a strong fit for our pages.
  • Keep Our Talent/Casting Database Fresh: Maintain and update our internal talent grids so we’re always tracking the best creators across entertainment, sports, and comedy.
  • Connect with Agencies & Managers: Jump in on outreach and collect talent submissions from reps when needed.
  • Keep Tabs on Social Media Trends: Stay dialed in on platform updates, viral moments, and content shifts that might impact how we work with talent.
  • Recommend Talent for Brand & Content Collabs: Help match creators to upcoming brand deals and original show opportunities.
  • Work Across Teams: Collaborate with our brand partnerships and creative teams to make sure we’re locking in the right talent for the right opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Must be college student, with availability to receive school credit
  • Someone Who Lives & Breathes Social Media: If you’re already deep in the world of viral content, trending formats, and up-and-coming creators, you’re in the right place.
  • Hyper-Organized & Detail-Oriented: Juggling talent pipelines and keeping things streamlined is key.
  • Strong Communicator: Whether it’s updating a spreadsheet or pitching a creator, you should be able to get your point across clearly and concisely.
