Job summary

Jefferson is seeking a Talent and Performance Management Consultant to design, implement, and execute enterprise talent programs that strengthen leadership capability, succession readiness, and employee development. You will use data-driven insights to support workforce planning and colleague growth across the organization.

In this role, you will operationalize talent processes, lead cross-functional initiatives, benchmark trends, and develop dashboards and executive communications for leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline within a large organization.
• Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating across functions to achieve business outcomes.
• Experience leveraging talent and workforce data to develop insights, reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize talent reviews, performance calibrations, and succession planning processes by coordinating sessions, preparing materials and talent data, documenting outcomes, ensuring alignment to established guidelines, and tracking follow-up development actions.
• Lead cross-functional talent initiatives and project workstreams, ensuring milestones, deliverables, communications, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.
• Research emerging performance and talent management trends, benchmarking data, and industry best practices to recommend enhancements to enterprise programs and processes.
• Contribute to change management and communication efforts that support adoption, engagement, and sustainability of talent and performance initiatives.
• Support the development and integration of competency models, career pathways, and skills-based talent practices into talent and performance programs.
• Develop executive summaries, presentations, reports, dashboards, workforce analyses, and talent insights that communicate program outcomes and recommendations to leaders.
• Facilitate workshops, leader enablement sessions, and manager training focused on performance management, succession planning, talent assessment, and employee development practices.
• Oversee and maintain Workday talent data and performance information by ensuring data accuracy, updating records, auditing data quality, and preparing reports that support talent management processes and decision-making.
• Administer mentoring and coaching programs by managing participant intake, application processes, matching activities, program communications, progress tracking, and outcome reporting to support leadership and career development objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships by coordinating contracts, tracking deliverables, monitoring performance, and supporting program implementation and evaluation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to advance organizational priorities and the evolution of talent and performance management practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS and talent management platforms; Workday experience strongly preferred.
• PHR - Professional in Human Resources - HR Certification Institute or SCP - Senior Certified Professional - Society for Human Resource Management.
