Job description

At DraftKings, AI is becoming an integral part of both our present and future, powering how work gets done today, guiding smarter decisions, and sparking bold ideas. It’s transforming how we enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and unlock new possibilities. Our teams are energized by innovation and readily embrace emerging technology. We’re not waiting for the future to arrive. We’re shaping it, one bold step at a time. To those who see AI as a driver of progress, come build the future together.

What You'll Do
  • Build a deep understanding of the teams you support, including their priorities, customers, talent needs and competitive landscape. Turn talent-market signals, competitor movement, talent availability, pipeline data and candidate feedback into recommendations that help hiring leaders make informed decisions and earn trust in your perspective.

  • Lead your searches from intake through hire, with success measured by how you deliver, not activity alone.

  • Translate business needs into focused talent strategies, identify and engage high-quality talent, guide stakeholders through the hiring process and adapt your approach as business priorities and hiring plans evolve.

  • Maintain momentum through to outcome, take accountability for progress, communicate clearly and follow through on what you own.

  • Look beyond individual openings by mapping relevant talent markets, identifying emerging and non-obvious talent pools and cultivating relationships that strengthen our ability to hire for current and future needs.

  • Make every candidate and stakeholder interaction clear, responsive and human. Help candidates understand the opportunity and DraftKings, prepare hiring teams to make thoughtful decisions and continuously look for ways to strengthen the hiring experience.

  • Apply AI and emerging recruiting technology to strengthen research, talent mapping, sourcing, communication and workflow efficiency. Test new approaches, learn from the results and scale what improves quality, speed or experience. Use sound judgment to determine where technology adds value and where meaningful human connection matters most.

  • Partner across Talent Advisory & Delivery, People Teams, business teams and geographies with transparency and shared accountability. Bring candid perspectives, welcome different points of view and contribute beyond your own searches when your expertise can strengthen the team’s results.

  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and use it to understand funnel health, uncover patterns and translate insights into action. Focus on measures that strengthen hiring decisions, experiences and results.

  • Identify recurring challenges, test better approaches and share what works across Talent Advisory & Delivery. Stay curious about our business, competitors and talent markets, bringing outside-in thinking to hiring conversations and continuously improving how we attract, assess and hire exceptional talent.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience in a high-growth, agency, consulting or similarly fast-moving environment.

  • The ability to turn ambiguous hiring needs into structured talent strategies, using business context, market intelligence and sound judgment to recommend clear next steps.

  • Experience owning full-cycle searches, ideally for technology, technical or analytics roles, with a strong focus on proactive sourcing, talent engagement and building pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with experience using talent intelligence, competitor mapping, external market trends and recruiting data to identify patterns and improve hiring outcomes.

  • Confidence partnering directly with hiring leaders, including asking thoughtful questions, sharing informed perspectives and respectfully challenging assumptions when it can lead to a better outcome.

  • A track record of creating strong candidate and stakeholder experiences through clear communication, preparation, empathy and consistent follow-through.

  • Comfort using recruiting technology, including applicant tracking systems, with an eagerness to experiment with AI-enabled tools to improve quality, insight and efficiency; Workday experience is a plus.

  • Strong organization, curiosity and resilience, with the judgment to manage competing priorities, learn from outcomes and maintain high standards without losing sight of the human experience.
