Job summary

Haydon Corporation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead hourly and entry-level recruitment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will craft compelling job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage background checks, partnering with managers to align staffing with production needs.

You will develop pipelines for current and future hourly roles, ensure a positive candidate experience, and uphold compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Full-cycle recruiting for hourly positions.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Paycom TA is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hourly and entry level recruiting efforts including but not limited to, ad and job boards copy and placement; identification of possible candidates, screening and interviewing of applicants, and conducting background checks.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hourly positions
• Composes internal and external job postings and job descriptions
• Prepares offer of employment upon acceptance, sends new hire packet and conducts pre-employment screening.
• Compiles information and sends KPI and New Hire reports to Operations weekly.
• Develop and utilize effective applicant screening methods and tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
• Identify and participate in community activities such as job fairs, university events, industry groups etc.
• Promote a positive employer brand and deliver an excellent candidate experience
