Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to connect top talent with manufacturing operations across North America. You will drive end-to-end recruitment from requisition to offer, supporting bilingual English/French hiring needs and collaborating with plant managers and HR teams.

Based in US or Canada, you will influence processes, build pipelines, and improve candidate experience while aligning with Hydro’s sustainability and inclusive culture. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle and working directly with hiring managers.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders.
• Experience sourcing and attracting talent through multiple channels.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• English and French proficiency, both written and verbal, in a bilingual environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, engineering, technical, or admin settings is a plus.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or LinkedIn Recruiter is an asset.
• HR or Recruitment certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract and engage qualified candidates.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Screen and assess candidates using structured selection criteria.
• Coordinate interviews and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Provide hiring managers with market insights and recruitment progress updates.
• Support offer development, approvals, negotiations, and candidate communications.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and ATS data.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and outcomes.

From manufacturing and skilled trades to engineering and administrative functions, you will help Hydro attract and hire the talent needed to sustain our operations and support future growth throughout North America.

This position will bebased in either the US or Canada and requires professional proficiency in both English and French to support candidates, employees, and hiring managers in a bilingual environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence hiring outcomes, improve recruitment processes, and help shape the candidate experience across the organization. What You Will Do

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition intake through offer acceptance

• Recruitment experience in manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, engineering, technical, or administrative environments is considered an asset
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, or other candidate sourcing tools is considered an asset
• Human Resources or Recruitment certification is considered an asset
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset

Additional Information

• On‑site presence is required to support plant recruitment activities and collaboration with hiring managers
• Occasional travel may be required for recruiting events, site visits, and business meetings
