Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Management Talent Acquisition team in Lombard, IL. This hybrid role builds recruiting strategies for management and leadership across the United States, partnering with hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate and customer experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including multi-site coordination, ATS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in management or leadership talent.
  • Experience supporting multiple hiring managers and locations simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.
  • Hands‑on ATS experience, preferably with system administration, reporting, and user training.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies for management positions.
  • Act as trusted talent advisor with market insights and candidate guidance.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders for candidate experience.
  • Source passive and active candidates via job boards, networking, referrals, social media, direct outreach.
  • Use ATS to manage requisitions, pipelines, workflows, and reporting.
  • Provide ATS training and support to hiring managers.
  • Monitor candidate movement and timely dispositions.
  • Track and report recruiting KPIs and market trends.
  • Participate in recruitment strategy meetings and updates on hiring progress.
  • Support workforce and succession planning.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with EEO, ADA, OFCCP and laws.
  • Assist with employer branding and talent attraction.
  • Support special projects, acquisitions, startup operations, and bid-related recruiting.

Position Summary

Transdev is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Management Talent Acquisition team. This role develops and executes recruiting strategies to attract, engage, and hire top management and leadership talent across multiple locations throughout the United States. The Specialist serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers and operational leaders, building strong relationships while delivering an exceptional candidate and customer experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Hybrid position based in Lombard, IL, supporting hiring initiatives across an assigned geographic region, with occasional travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to develop effective recruiting strategies for management and leadership positions.
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor, providing market insights, recruitment trends, and guidance on candidate selection.
  • Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process – sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure an exceptional experience for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Source passive and active candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidate pipelines, workflow compliance, and recruitment reporting.
  • Provide ATS training and ongoing support to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor candidate movement and ensure timely review and disposition of applicants.
  • Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics, workforce trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in recruitment strategy meetings and provide updates on hiring progress and talent market conditions.
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with EEO, ADA, OFCCP, and other applicable employment laws.
  • Assist with employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Support special projects, acquisitions, startup operations, and bid‑related recruiting efforts as needed.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $60,000 – $69,000.
