Make an Impact With Us

At Vallourec, we are seeking individuals whose passion and dedication match the strength and resilience of the steel we produce. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead end‑to‑end recruitment efforts to identify, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. Beyond traditional sourcing and hiring, you will play a strategic role in building brand awareness, attracting qualified interest, and activating talent communities. You’ll collaborate closely with Communications and Marketing to craft compelling narratives that showcase our culture, values, and opportunities—turning passive interest into active engagement.

Your mission is to grow and nurture candidate pipelines through innovative outreach, storytelling, and relationship‑building. You’ll leverage data‑driven insights and creative campaigns to convert prospects into applicants and referrals, ensuring a seamless and inclusive candidate experience from first touch to final offer.

This role will require travel to support two main manufacturing facilities in Houston, TX (Hardy Rd. & Sheldon Rd). Candidates must be willing to work out of each location on a weekly basis and support manufacturing plant hiring initiatives.

Your Role at a Glance
  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment across multiple functions and levels for assigned requisitions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Communications/Marketing to co‑design recruitment marketing campaigns (across social, career sites, email, small events, etc.), create and maintain content/event calendars, and measure performance.
  • Build and maintain talent communities through events, social media, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and execute campaigns that drive awareness and interest in key roles.
  • Cultivate relationships with passive candidates and convert them into active applicants.
  • Track and analyze pipeline metrics to optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
  • Plan and staff industry events, info sessions, and job fairs; develop pre/during/post‑event tactics to capture interest and applications.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting, use data to iterate tactics and processes.
What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience considered. SHRM‑CP, PHR, AIRS‑CIR, or LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter certification preferred.
  • 3‑5 years’ experience in full‑cycle recruiting, or talent sourcing, preferably in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment.
  • Ability to work and travel between manufacturing facilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that attract diversified talent.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, requisition workflows, and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong process orientation with experience mapping workflows, creating SOPs/playbooks, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in tracking funnel metrics (TTF, TTH, NPS) and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable managing compliance, documentation, and audit‑ready recruiting operations.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for improving systems, experiences, and outcomes.
  • Empathetic and candidate‑centric, with a commitment to inclusive hiring practices and transparent communication.
What Powers Your Performance
