Job summary

Green Plains Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to drive full life-cycle recruiting and strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

The role calls for independent action, judgment, and initiative to meet hiring goals with top talent. The successful candidate will develop sourcing strategies, build cross-functional relationships with management, and guide hiring managers through the recruitment process while ensuring SOPs are in place and labor laws are followed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field.
  • Minimum of five years recruitment experience.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Aptitude to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with urgency and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt easily to change.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job (sitting, computer use, telephone use).
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute full Talent Acquisition life-cycle strategy and plans.
  • Recruit talent by utilizing current market intelligence and innovative recruitment techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Establish sourcing strategies related to social media, military, colleges, and professional organizations.
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with management to confirm desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Partner with and provide guidance to colleagues and hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition process which may include training and support.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment SOPs for administrative processes.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide workforce strategy solutions to increase retention and employee engagement.
  • Partner with communications team to market opportunities and create brand recognition.
  • Track and measure recruiting metrics; provide regular reporting on performance hiring outcomes of the organization.
  • Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, providing company/job information.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable state and federal labor laws and guidelines (FLSA, NLRA, ADA, Title VII, state equivalents).
  • Accept other work-related responsibilities as assigned.
