Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing, or related HR work.
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, hiring manager partnership, candidate communication, interview coordination, and talent pipeline development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activities including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce needs, selection criteria, and candidate profiles.
  • Support consistent, compliant, and timely hiring practices that align with organizational standards and promote a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Develop talent sourcing plans that identify qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, community relationships, referrals, schools, events, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
  • Identify sourcing gaps and recommend outreach strategies to improve candidate flow and pipeline strength.
  • Create a positive and professional candidate experience through timely communication, accurate information, clear expectations, and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Support employment branding initiatives that highlight Community First Credit Union as an employer and strengthen candidate engagement.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure recruiting materials, job postings, and candidate communications reflect organizational values and role expectations.
  • Support internship programs, community partnerships, school relationships, career events, and other external talent initiatives.

Job description

The Talent Acquisition Partner attracts, hires, and develops talent pipelines that support workforce needs and organizational growth. This role leads full-cycle recruitment activities, builds sourcing strategies, supports hiring managers, and helps create a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through selection and onboarding coordination.

This position partners with leaders, Human Resources, community partners, schools, and external talent sources to identify staffing needs, strengthen employment branding, build candidate pipelines, and support effective hiring decisions. The Talent Acquisition Partner also contributes to recruiting analytics, internship and community partnership programs, and continuous improvement of the hiring process.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer support, and hiring process follow-up.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce needs, selection criteria, and candidate profiles.

Interview, Selection & Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Support hiring process consistency by maintaining clear documentation and following established selection practices.

Recruiting Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards and reporting related to time-to-fill, candidate pipelines, offer acceptance, hiring activity, and other recruiting measures.
  • Use recruiting data, hiring manager feedback, candidate feedback, and process observations to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend updates to sourcing plans, candidate communication, employment branding, and hiring process practices to improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certification or coursework in talent acquisition, recruiting, HR, interviewing, sourcing, or employment branding is a plus.

Experience

  • Three or more years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing, sourcing, or related human resources work required.
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, hiring manager partnership, candidate communication, interview coordination, and talent pipeline development.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, sourcing tools, employment branding resources, and recruiting metrics required.
  • Financial institution or credit union experience preferred.

Other Skills

  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, interview coordination, and hiring process support.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and provide clear guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the organization professionally to candidates and community partners.
  • Ability to source candidates creatively and develop pipelines aligned to workforce needs.
  • Strong organization, follow-up, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines.
  • Ability to use recruiting data and feedback to identify trends and improve hiring effectiveness.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and support compliant, consistent, and fair hiring practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, LinkedIn or similar sourcing tools, and reporting resources preferred.
