Responsibilities

Job Summary

Caterpillar’s Digital, Technology & Distribution (DT&D) segment advances the digital platforms, technology solutions, distribution capabilities, and dealer services that help Caterpillar serve customers worldwide. This Talent Acquisition Partner will primarily support Cat Digital and Cat Technology hiring by partnering with business and technical leaders to attract technical talent in areas such as software engineering, robotics, connectivity, and more.


What You Will Do


  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for software engineering roles, from requirement intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding.

  • Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand business needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.

  • Advise hiring teams on talent supply, market trends, compensation, and recruiting practices.

What You Will Have


  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.

  • Knowledge of the benefit, selection, implementation, and operation of various recruitment channels (e.g., computer databases, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals); ability to use appropriate channels to achieve objectives of organizational talent strategy.

  • Knowledge of techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates.

  • Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.

Additional Info

This position can be located in Chicago, IL or Irving, TX. This role requires 5 days a week in office. Sponsorship is not available.

Pay Range

Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.

Additional Conditions
