Job summary

NSF seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to own full-cycle recruitment across divisions. You will partner with all levels, source active and passive candidates, and guide hiring managers through screening and interviewing processes.

You will operate in a hybrid model with three days in the Ann Arbor, MI headquarters, leveraging ORC/ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to attract top talent to our science- and technology-focused teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 3 years recruiting/hiring experience.
  • Experience recruiting in the scientific, food, water and/or technical industries.
  • Online / trade publication job posting experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferred Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
  • Excellent sourcing skills utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
  • Excellent MS Office software experience: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Ability to be hybrid to Ann Arbor, MI headquarters (3 days/week in office).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle recruitment process for assigned open positions including identify recruiting resources, sourcing, prescreening and qualifying candidates, providing a diverse pool of qualified candidates to hiring managers, developing interview questionnaires, interviewing all final candidates, reference checks, and extending job offers
  • Post job openings through ATS, Linked-In and other resources as needed
  • Actively source candidates; connect with and attract passive talent
  • Use creative networks and recruiting tools to find the best candidates
  • Build relationships and influence internal customers
  • Provide hiring managers with effective screening, interviewing and selection techniques
  • Coordinate candidate interviews via MS Teams and travel to interviews as necessary
  • Maintain interview tracking systems and current openings/positions filled report
  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with university/college placement resources, industry related resources, direct placement and temporary recruiting agencies as needed
  • Support overall recruiting strategies, policies, practices, and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
