Job summary

Porto's Bakery & Cafe is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruiting team and support hiring across multiple locations and levels of the organization.

The role combines hands-on recruiting for management, professional, leadership, and specialized roles with oversight of daily recruiting operations. You will collaborate with operational leaders, support new location openings, and strengthen recruiting processes to fuel continued growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervising recruiting teams.
• Experience in multi-unit high-volume environments (restaurants, hospitality, grocery).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a strong background in recruiting for high-volume, multi-location operations to oversee our recruiting team and support hiring needs across all levels of our growing organization.

This position combines hands-on recruitment for management, professional, leadership, and specialized positions with oversight of daily recruiting operations. The Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with operational and departmental leadership, support hiring initiatives for new locations, and help strengthen recruiting processes and practices to support the Company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily recruiting operations and support hiring needs across multiple locations, departments, and levels of the organization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the recruiting team, providing guidance, direction, and accountability for recruitment activities.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for management, professional, leadership, and specialized positions, including proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
• Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and recruitment priorities.
• Develop sourcing strategies and build candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs, including hard-to-fill positions.
• Lead and coordinate recruiting efforts for new location openings, departmental expansion, and other hiring initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve recruiting processes, systems, and workflows to strengthen efficiency, consistency, and the candidate experience.
• Monitor recruitment activity, hiring progress, and key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Build relationships with external recruiting partners, professional networks, and community organizations to expand talent sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and Company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including full-cycle recruitment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising, leading, or developing recruiting teams preferred.
• Experience recruiting within multi-unit restaurant operations, fast-casual dining, grocery or market chains, hospitality, or similar high-volume, multi-location environments strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for management, professional, leadership, and specialized positions.
• Strong experience with proactive candidate sourcing, including engaging passive candidates and recruiting for hard-to-fill positions.
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring and managing multiple recruitment priorities across locations or departments.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and recruitment reporting.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement practical solutions.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and recruiting best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
