Job summary

Holmes Murphy & Associates is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition professional to drive full-cycle recruitment across levels, partnering with HRBPs and leaders to define workforce needs and fill critical roles.

The role emphasizes strong sourcing skills, candidate experience, and collaboration across teams. Travel to campuses and partner organizations will be required, with a focus on building diverse pipelines and an engaging employer brand.

Qualifications

  • Experience in full-cycle corporate recruiting is required (3–5 years).
  • Strong consultative and collaborative skills across management levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage stress and multiple priorities, with occasional non-standard hours.
  • Willingness to travel and build relationships with colleges and organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Define talent needs with senior TA partners and leaders to support workforce planning.
  • Maintain active candidate pipelines and source using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Draft, create, and post job ads; review resumes and coordinate interviews.
  • Extend offers and negotiate terms with candidates; monitor background checks.
  • Partner with marketing to build the employment brand and recruiting materials.
  • Support campus relations, internships, and entry-level programs; attend events.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to define talent needs for all‑level roles, as part of the broader workforce plan, managing an active pipeline, sourcing, and recruiting in all locations.
  • Maintain an active sourcing pipeline of proactive candidates for current and upcoming jobs using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Draft, create, and post job ads.
  • Identify appropriate recruiting strategy for assigned roles.
  • Review resumes.
  • Schedule and conduct video, telephone, and in‑person interviews.
  • Consult with Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, HR Business Partners and hiring managers regarding interview recommendations and hiring decisions.
  • Keep candidates informed of status.
  • Create offer letter documents and extend/negotiate offers.
  • Monitor background check process.
  • Recommend and assist with implementing best‑in‑class recruiting processes to leverage throughout the organization.
  • Ensure full utilization of technology in recruiting and onboarding efforts; work with leaders to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing to build and maintain the employment brand and appropriate recruiting materials.
  • Assist with campus relations and recruiting strategy for internships, talent development program, and entry‑level opportunities; maintain relationships with colleges and other organizations.
  • Identify recruiting opportunities, organize annual recruiting schedule, and coordinate resources for events.
  • Travel to universities and community partners each fall/spring to promote open talent development opportunities (Intern/Brainery).
  • Assist with summer internship program.
  • Partner with leaders to coordinate site‑specific recruiting opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated competence in, or experience with, human resource management, recruiting, and onboarding programs, practices, and strategies.
  • Strong consultative and collaborative skills, emphasizing leadership, diversity, and productive relationships throughout the organization.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage stress in a position that may require non‑standard business hours and attend to multiple challenging issues and tasks simultaneously.
  • Self‑directed and able to work cross‑functionally with others at all levels of an organization, including team members, senior leaders, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage and maintain a variety of confidential information.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent computer skills with HRIS systems and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Willingness to pursue relevant designations and/or continuing education, as appropriate.
  • Knowledge of human resource compliance issues such as ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, EEOC Guidelines, and applicable federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with HMA’s Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations and E&O procedures and policies.

Education: High school diploma; a college degree in Human Resources or a business‑related field is preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years’ experience in full‑cycle corporate recruiting is required.
