Overview

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for leading the full-cycle talent acquisition across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this individual will develop recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire high-impact talent. The TABP will oversee one Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist and collaborate closely with business leaders and HR partners to align hiring efforts with business priorities.

This role is ideal for an experienced TA leader who thrives in dynamic environments, brings a strategic approach to recruiting, and can operationalize and scale best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Delivery
  • Design and implement recruitment strategies for corporate and onsite multifamily roles.
  • Lead high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt roles, focusing on time-to-fill and quality of hire.
  • Advise leadership on workforce trends, hiring plans, and market competitiveness.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a TA Operations Specialist to ensure smooth processes and excellent candidate experience.
  • Set performance goals and optimize recruiting metrics.
Process & Program Development
  • Refine sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding processes.
  • Drive recruitment marketing, social media outreach, and employer branding efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to forecast staffing needs and align on candidate profiles.
  • Educate hiring managers on best practices and inclusive hiring techniques.
Compliance & Data
  • Ensure compliance with all legal hiring requirements.
  • Use data and reporting to improve recruiting outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 7 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including 2+ years in a managerial or Business Partner role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience recruiting high-volume non-exempt roles, ideally in third-party multifamily property management.
  • Proven strategic and operational recruitment skills.
  • Experience managing or mentoring TA staff.
  • HR or Talent Acquisition certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
