Talent Acquisition Analyst/Recruiting Coordinator
6+ Month Contract Opportunity
New York, NY

KKR seeks an exceptional, highly motivated recent graduate to join the firm’s Talent Acquisition team as an Analyst supporting the Head of Talent Acquisition. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad exposure to recruiting, Human Resources, and the asset management industry while working closely with the leader of KKR’s global recruiting function.

The Analyst will serve as a key partner to the Head of Talent Acquisition, helping manage a portfolio of senior and strategic searches while supporting the reporting, analytics, and day‑to‑day operations of the global Talent Acquisition function. The role combines recruiting coordination, data and analysis, project management, and operating support, providing visibility into both the strategic and executional sides of recruiting.

The successful candidate will gain firsthand exposure to how a global Talent Acquisition function operates within a leading alternative asset manager, including how senior and executive searches are managed from initial strategy through offer and close; how recruiting priorities connect to broader business objectives; and how recruiting data, compensation and offer approvals, and executive search firm relationships are managed. The role will also provide significant exposure to senior executives, recruiters, candidates, and external partners across KKR’s global organization.

The Head of Talent Acquisition will work closely with this individual, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who is intellectually curious, eager to learn, and interested in building a strong foundation in recruiting, Human Resources, financial services, or asset management.

Because the role involves highly confidential recruiting, compensation, candidate, and financial information, exceptional judgment, maturity, integrity, and discretion are essential.

This is a contract position requiring a minimum six-month commitment.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting Coordination & Support to the Head of Talent Acquisition

  • Serve as a day-to-day analyst and organizational partner to the Head of Talent Acquisition, helping manage priorities and drive senior and strategic searches forward.
  • Help manage a portfolio of approximately 8–10 active searches, tracking candidates, interviews, feedback, decisions, and next steps
  • Coordinate complex interview processes across multiple time zones, including scheduling, logistics, candidate communications, and feedback
  • Provide a high-touch, white-glove experience for candidates and coordinate effectively with senior KKR stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate candidate and search information in Greenhouse and other recruiting/project management systems
  • Anticipate upcoming needs, maintain action items, proactively flag outstanding issues, and help ensure searches and other priorities remain on track
  • Prepare and organize materials for recruiting discussions, meetings, and senior management updates
  • Support recruiting events, special projects, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed

Global Talent Acquisition Reporting & Operations

  • Coordinate the monthly collection of recruiting updates from 25+ recruiters globally and consolidate activity into clear, concise reporting for senior leadership
  • Organize and analyze recruiting data to identify key themes and trends and prepare reporting for KKR’s CFO and other senior stakeholders
  • Create polished Excel analyses, PowerPoint presentations, and other management reporting materials
  • Coordinate the twice-weekly preparation of offer approval requests for CFO review, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate, and well organized
  • Maintain records and proactively follow up with recruiters and other stakeholders on missing information and outstanding items
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve recurring reporting and operational processes through AI and other technology-enabled solutions

Executive Search Firm Management

  • Receive, organize, and track executive search firm invoices, engagements, and related fees
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and analysis of executive search activity and expenditures
  • Coordinate with recruiters and other internal stakeholders to resolve questions and ensure information is complete and accurate
  • Support other executive search and recruiting-related projects as needed

Across all responsibilities, handle highly sensitive candidate, employee, compensation, and business information with exceptional discretion and judgment.

Ideal Experience:

Our ideal candidate is an outstanding recent college graduate (Spring 2025 – Spring 2026 graduation date) with a strong academic record who is motivated and genuinely interested in learning more about asset management, financial services, or Human Resources. They will demonstrate exceptional potential, judgment, and work ethic.

Critical Components for Success:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to bring structure to large amounts of information
  • Impressive attention to detail and a strong instinct for accuracy
  • High intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn, including a strong interest in AI and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to improve productivity and ways of working
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, or the aptitude and motivation to become highly proficient quickly
  • Proficiency with AI-enabled productivity tools and the ability to use them effectively to synthesize information, analyze data, draft and refine materials, and improve the efficiency of recurring workflows
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, including the ability to identify repetitive or manual processes that can be streamlined through AI, automation, or other technology-enabled solutions
  • Ability to manage numerous competing priorities, take ownership, and follow through reliably without requiring constant direction
  • Maturity and confidence interacting with senior professionals
  • A service-oriented mentality combined with high standards and a strong sense of urgency
  • Exceptional integrity, discretion, and judgment when handling confidential information, including the ability to recognize sensitive information, understand appropriate access, and exercise sound judgment regarding the use of AI and other technology when working with confidential or personally identifiable information
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • A low-ego, team-oriented approach and willingness to tackle both detailed administrative work and more analytical assignments
