Job summary

Grandville Printing in Grandville, MI is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join our take-out and catering delivery team. You will handle phone orders, greet guests, and ensure accurate carry-out and delivery.

Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, own an insured vehicle, and a smartphone with navigation. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, navigate steps and rough terrain, and work in varying weather conditions.

• Deliver catering and delivery orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for staff and guests.

About The Job

Our Friendly, fast paced location is looking to add to our team!

The Take-Out and Delivery team works to ensure all guests have a delightful first AND last impression of the UHG takeout dining experience.

General Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)

• Answering phone calls regarding in house inquiries as well as taking carry out/delivery orders.
• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival whether in the restaurant or at the Delivery site.
• Engage in friendly conversation as you take care of our guests needs
• Package all carry out orders to ensure 100% accuracy
• Deliver catering and delivery orders in a timely manner.
• Help maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for our team as well as our guests.

Requirements

The successful applicant will:

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Must possess a smartphone that includes navigation tools, and possess skills to read a map, and locate addresses within our delivery area.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop or lift to 40 pounds.
• Be able to navigate steps and rough terrain, including multi-level buildings.
• Be able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Be personable, friendly, and outgoing.

Delivery Drivers are paid a solid hourly wage and take home tips daily! Parking is provided and drivers are paid an additional $2 per delivery that is completed!
